The Washburn Jazz J600 Electric Guitar combines the traditional sound of an acoustic guitar with the advantages of electric instrumentation to create a jazz guitar that not only sounds great, but can be used to play larger venues at higher volumes. Acoustic guitars create resonance in the guitar body, while traditional electric guitars have a solid body and make up for the lack of resonance with electric power and amps. The single Humbucker pickup is positioned at the base of the fretboard and this captures the vibration of the strings seamlessly so that the music delivered to the amps is pure and clean. The hollow body of the Washburn Jazz J600 Electric Guitar gives it a warm jazz tone. The headstock is ebony and features the Washburn logo above a stylized inlay design located between the string posts. The tuners are black Grover exclusive 18:1 machineheads. The archtop front includes one ebony volume control, one ebony tone control, and a single three-way toggle switch pickup selector.
